The Pirsatro Tonica is metallic orange rosin with medium hardness and grip, perfectly balanced for your needs. Although this rosin is made for violin, but it is also recommended for Erhu, Zhonghu and Gaohu as well.

A medium hard rosin of the Pirastro line, the Tonica rosin gives a comforatble balance in terms of grip, power and smoothness of sound. If you prefer a softer rosin, you can have a look at the Pirastro Oliv Evah Rosin or if you prefer a harder rosin, the Pirastro Schwarz Rosin is a good choice as well.
Made from high quality tree saps, this Rosin may be made for Violin, however it is perfect for the Erhu use. As Erhu tends to have a relatively lower string tension, the well balanced grip and smoothness of this Tonica Rosin will perform very well on your Erhu.
