The Guanzi, also known as Bili, is a traditional Chinese double-reed instrument, played by both blowing into the reed. It has seven finger holes on the top and one thumb hole on the back. The length of Guanzi varies from 18cm to 33cm.

It is played by both blowing into as well as drawing air into the instrument. Shengs come in various shapes, sizes, and functions. Some Shengs are chromatic, some are pentatonic, and some even have their own tunings.

Guanzis are usually used in folk ensembles or large orchestras. They are loud with a clear and bright tone, also great for imitating human voices or animal sounds.
