Founded in 1989, by famed Guzheng maker Jia Hongliu in Yangzhou, the company Zhonghao Ltd produced the Zheng Weidao Guzheng brand.

Zhonghao is a part of the Yangzhou Guzheng association and Many Guzheng maestros like Wang Zhongshan and Professor Chen Anhua prefer Zhonghao Zheng Weidao Guzhengs.

These Guzhengs feature a proprietary scale design, which is a guarded trade secret that makes them so unique and exceptional. Also, these Guzhengs tend to have a mellower, warmer, deeper tone, and this sound fills up an entire room, with that strong spatial sense.

FRAME, SOUNDBOARD & STRINGS

Together with the power of the German Roslau steel core nylon wounded strings, and the finest selected material of paulownia for its soundboard, this is a Guzheng to be reckoned with. Carefully air-dried in a controlled environment over 6 years, this soundboard is seasoned to perfection to produce the signature Rich, Bright and Vibrant sound that you will want to possess.

The top soundboard and the frame of the Guzheng is actually carved out from a single piece of wood (unjointed). The frame is also protected with a layer of exquisite high gloss finishing (like a piano). The unjointed high quality paulownia wood between the frame and soundboard of the Guzheng gives this Guzheng its signature irresistible tone color.

DECORATIVE PANEL

Following a classic design, this Guzheng focuses its efforts on the woodgrains of the decorative panel. Boasting an elegant and delicate look with Huang Huali Rosewood, and Burl Madrone wood, finished with a high gloss piano finish. A classic and timeless looking guzheng that will look great in any setting.
