A MAKER YOU CAN TRUST
Dizi maker Li Lin works from Huaxi Village in Lin’an, Hangzhou, a region known for traditional bamboo Dizi and xiao craftsmanship. He runs a small workshop and personally completes each stage of production, from bamboo selection and shaping to tuning and finishing.
Trained under respected Dizi maker Dong Weiqing, Li Lin combines traditional methods with careful acoustic refinement. His Dizis are known for their accurate intonation, responsive articulation and bright, resonant tone, with a rounded and transparent sound that reflects his attention to balance and detail.
