Please be informed that we do not cover accidental or intentional damages caused by the user. String breakages are also not covered. Refund and return requests will only be fulfilled if there are out-of-box failures of missing packages. Colored a deeply luxurious auburn, this Guzheng frame is diligently crafted from premium cuts of the Bubinga Wood. A classic design, this exotic wood is especially durable compared to its close counterparts, possessing high density. A worthy Guzheng that will serve you well through your music journey.
Using only premium selections of White rosewood, these bridges are made to the shape of the Dunhuang Guzheng soundboard so that the vibrations from the strings could travel to the soundboard well and thus maximizing the tonal projection of the Guzheng.
Complementing the top soundboard, this Grade 1 backboard is made from the same type of wood as the top soundboard to resonate in the similar fashion so that the sound could be amplified in a uniform manner to bring you the type of sound that is crystal clear and resonant.
Titled “Rainfall at Dusk”, this design was created by the late legendary Guzheng maker Xu Zheng Gao. Featuring a backdrop akin to an intricately carved window panel, each side is delicately inlaid with ivory-white discs blended from a mix of resin and bone. A classic design that has continued to enjoy immense popularity over the last two decades.

I purchased my gu zheng from Eight Tones straight after my first lesson with them.
In terms of service, they were very patient with me when i took some time to decide the lesson package due to my tight schedule. Their timetable were up to date in their electronic system and i could plan my schedule on the spot easily with them.
The staff were very knowledgeable including the girl who assisted me in making decision for the type of gu zheng in terms of wood quality, sound quality etc. And she helped me to tune my instrument professionally and fast enough as i was actually in a hurry to bring my son for tuition after that.
