Crafted from Grade 3 Paulownia wood, this soundboard was aged for 5 years before being used to construct this instrument. Priding itself on using only the finest materials, Shanghai Dunhuang insists on air drying its soundboards, lending a warm tone to these Guzhengs. Matched with Dunhuang Type A strings, this combination yields a Guzheng that sounds especially smooth.

Crafted from African Rosewood, the frame possesses a rich, chestnut hue. With beautiful wood grains that span across its length, this Guzheng has a succinct aura that is goes beyond its humble price tag.
As a crucial part of the Guzheng, this set of bridges is constructed from sturdy huali rosewood. Tipped with a composite of resin and crushed bone powder, the resultant tone produced is smooth and direct.
Made with care from Paulownia wood, this Grade 3 bottom board has been aged for 5 years. Preferring to air dry its bottom boards, it confers upon this Shanghai Dunhuang Guzheng a relaxed, yet clear tone color.
Named “Duo Cranes Facing The Sun”, these beautiful wood carvings seem austere at first sight, yet draws its viewer in ever so gently. Blending in sentiments of love and hope, it is subtly poetic, a lovely design to behold.
