Hua Yun Music was founded by Liu Jiang, a Suona musician from the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, with a mission to elevate the traditional Sheng and Suona instruments to new heights.
Having graduated from the China Conservatory of Music in 1997, Liu Jiang is a Suona sectional instructor in various tertiary, secondary, and primary schools. With his years of teaching experience, he understands the needs of school children well and is constantly seeking ways to improve his teachings and the instruments that students use. Liu Jiang is also the go-to person for various schools when it comes to tuning and repairing Shengs and Suonas.
Liu Jiang has partners in China Tianjin City that make exceptional Shengs and Suonas according to his specifications. These instruments produce excellent tone colors and are easy to service and tune by any expert instrumentalist or maker. Liu Jiang personally guarantees each and every instrument.
