These Company Policies outline the principles and standards that guide Eight Tones Music Store Pte. Ltd. (“Eight Tones”) in our publishing practices, educational content, product information, customer service and operational decisions.   • Respect for Traditional Chinese Music Culture: We remain mindful of the heritage and traditions behind Chinese instruments and aim to represent this culture responsibly.

  • Responsible Creative Practice: We do not use artificial intelligence tools to alter product photos in a way that misrepresents the actual instrument or product.
  • Client and Brand Respect: We honour brand guidelines, artistic direction and client preferences when producing any collaborative content.
  • User Generated Content: Reviews submitted by students or customers may appear on our platforms. We publish them responsibly and without modification to their meaning.

2. Ownership and Funding Information

Eight Tones Music Store Pte. Ltd. is a privately owned Singapore company with no external investors. We are fully self supported through product sales, music education services, retail operations and other business activities.

We accept paid sponsorships, advertorial partnerships and affiliate links where relevant. Although sponsored content may appear, we do not label such content unless required by law or platform guidelines. Our commercial relationships do not influence the accuracy or honesty of our published material.

We do not receive government grants or public sector funding.

3. Actionable Feedback Policy

We aim to respond within one week. Feedback is reviewed carefully to help us improve our processes, product information and customer experience.

We do not provide client revision rounds within this policy, as our products and services do not involve custom project revisions.

4. Corrections Policy

If factual errors or inaccuracies are identified in our published content, we will correct them within five working days. We will update the content as needed but will not include separate correction notes unless required.

Corrections do not apply to project based revisions, as we do not operate through project revision frameworks.

5. Ethics Policy

Eight Tones is committed to ethical standards in publishing, retail communication and education. We do not accept or produce content that involves:

  • Illegal activities
  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Explicit adult content
  • Violent or harmful behaviour
  • Political or extremist content
