Each Zhonghao ‘Oriental Flowers’ 3/4 Size Guzheng takes around 280 days just to finish making. The soundboard is carved out from a single piece of wood, similar to the Zhuque 613 guzheng. This guzheng has a warm, mellow and powerful tone, and will matchup regardless in tone or touch against full-sized guzhengs. If you have some spatial constraints yet want to play on a full-sized guzheng without compromise, then this guzheng is perfect for you.

Do note that we do not cover for damages caused by user accidentally or intentionally. String breakages are also not covered.
Refund and returns request will only be fulfilled if there is out-of-box failures or missing packages, more details can be found here.

Founded in 1989, by famed Guzheng maker Jia Hongliu in Yangzhou, the company Zhonghao Ltd produced the Zheng Weidao Guzheng brand.
Zhonghao is a part of the Yangzhou Guzheng association and Many Guzheng maestros like Wang Zhongshan and Professor Chen Anhua prefer Zhonghao Zheng Weidao Guzhengs.
These Guzhengs feature a proprietary scale design, which is a guarded trade secret that makes them so unique and exceptional. Also, these Guzhengs tend to have a mellower, warmer, deeper tone, and this sound fills up an entire room, with that strong spatial sense.

Although this guzheng is only 135cm long, and the effective soundboard length is 3/4 that of a full-sized guzhengs, no compromise was made in the quality of the soundboard. It is made from top-grade Paulownia hardwood, the soundboard is treated and dried to give that warm, resonating tone.
The resulting quality of this soundboard is on par with the Zhuque 613 Guzheng. However it is lower priced than the Zhuque 613 Guzheng, as such it offers very good value to customers because the price is considerably lower. With intricate, beautiful wood grains spanning across the instrument, this Guzheng exudes a unique, succinct aura that goes beyond its humble price tag.
Together with the soundboard, this Guzheng’s beautiful tone color resonates evenly from top to bottom of the instrument, and is brought to life with a good 3D effect.
German steel strings are big on sound but are extremely costly. This is why they are only used on Professional-Grade Dunhuang Guzhengs (Intermediate Level & above) but here we have it on a beginner grade Guzheng. Only certain big brands like Zhonghao have the capacity to manufacture their own professional German Steel Strings.
A crucial part of the Guzheng manufacturing process, this set of Guzheng bridges is constructed using sturdy Black Sandalwood. Tipped with a composite of resin and crushed bone powder, the resultant tone is smooth and direct.
Inspired by the scene of the moon rising along the hillside, different woods such as black sandalwood and suanzhi rosewood are intricately hand carved and laid upon the decorative panels. While the decorative panel’s design does not affect the Guzheng’s sound, who doesn’t love a Guzheng that looks as beautiful as it sounds!
