Hard and dense maple is employed in the construction of this Daruan’s frame. It is finished with a reddish varnish to give off a rosewood looking color. Giving the Daruan a luscious aesthetic, this is a lovely instrument for you to begin your Daruan journey with!
Utilising choice cuts of Paulownia wood, Bo Yue’s soundboards often endow its instruments with a lyrical tone color. By default, we will be bringing you the Daruan with steel frets, however, if you need the steel frets, you can chat with us to let us know.
For nylon frets, they give the Daruan a more rounded tone color due to their gentler nature. For steel frets on the other hand, their hardy character gives the Daruan a more strident tone.
An important part of sound production, the bridge is constructed from quality Maple and Ebony. With the brightness of Maple and sonority of Ebony, this is a perfect mix of qualities for the Daruan.
