One Year Instrument Warranty
All of our Chinese Instruments are covered by warranty for a year at Eight Tones Music Store Pte. Ltd. (Eight Tones). If you noticed that there are any issues with your instrument, you can contact Eight Tones via live chat or send us a message via the contact us page.
All Eight Tones instruments are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty solely on manufacturing defects.
Manufacturing Defects will include:
- Glued parts dislodging on its own
- Natural wood cracks forming
All calls for service or repairs should be referred and sent directly to Eight Tones. For an out-of-box failure, you may contact Eight Tones Music Store by email at contact@eight-tones.com.sg or WhatsApp us or call us at +65 9836 2072.
All strings and accessories parts will not be covered under instrument warranty.
Eight Tones offers more than just warranty. You can send your instrument for repair and restoration or set-up & tuning.
If you accidentally damaged your instrument, you can send us an image of your impaired product and we will do an initial assessment free of charge. You can also choose to bring your instrument down for an evaluation at 465 North Bridge Road #02-5039 Singapore 191465.
Returns and Refund Policy
Eight Tones Music Store Pte. Ltd. (Eight Tones) offers refunds only in cases of out-of-box failures or missing/undelivered packages. All refund claims must be made within 7 calendar days of receiving the products. Items must be unused and in their original packaging to qualify for a full refund. To make a refund claim, customers may fill out the form below or contact Eight Tones via email or WhatsApp. The full value of items refunded will be the final amount paid, and any vouchers or discounts will not be refunded as part of the full value.
In the case of an out-of-box failure, the customer must provide Eight Tones with sufficient information. Eight Tones management will review the case accordingly. Eight Tones reserves the right to refuse any refund claims if the customer is unable to provide sufficient information or if the claim is made after the 7 calendar days window.
In the case of a missing or undelivered package, Eight Tones will make insurance claims (if applicable) and will liaise with the shipping partners to validate the claims and make refunds accordingly once the claims are validated.
All refunds will be issued via secure payment gateways such as PayPal or Stripe, based on their respective refund payment policies. By making a purchase from Eight Tones, customers agree to abide by these refund policies. Any disputes arising from refunds will be governed by the laws of Singapore.
