Combining both the power of Type B Guzheng strings and the resonance of Shanghai Dunhuang’s Grade 1 paulownia wood soundboard, this is a Guzheng to be reckoned with. Carefully air dried in a controlled environment over the course of 25 years, this soundboard is seasoned to perfection to produce the signature Bright and Vibrant Dunhuang sound that you will want to possess.

FRAME & BRIDGES

Colored a deeply luxurious auburn, this Guzheng frame is diligently crafted from premium cuts of the Bubinga Wood. A classic design, this exotic wood is especially durable compared to its close counterparts, possessing high density. A worthy Guzheng that will serve you well through your music journey.

Using only premium selections of Black Sandalwood, these bridges are made to the shape of the Dunhuang Guzheng soundboard so that the vibrations from the strings could travel to the soundboard well and thus maximizing the tonal projection of the Guzheng.

BOTTOM BOARD

Complementing the top soundboard, this Grade 1 backboard is made from the same type of wood as the top soundboard to resonate in the similar fashion so that the sound could be amplified in a uniform manner to bring you the type of sound that is crystal clear and resonant.
